Malnutrition and dysphagia
Studies have shown that dysphagia is associated with malnutrition risk, particularly in higher risk patients for example those with stroke, cancer or respiratory diseases.1,2
The Fresubin spoonable ONS range complies with international standardised terminology, IDDSI* Level 4 (extremely thick). They provide an alternative to ready to drink ONS, with a range of high energy, high protein, nutritionally complete and fibre containing ONS.
These products are intended for patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition, in particular those with increased energy needs, fluid restrictions or dysphagia.
